Nashik’s Water Supply to Remain Completely Shut on September 20

Nashik | September 18, 2025: The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has announced that the city will face a complete water supply shutdown on Saturday, September 20, due to ongoing maintenance and repair works by the Water Supply Department along with the installation of flow meters under the Smart City initiative.

According to the NMC, water supply will resume on Sunday, September 21, but with low pressure in the morning hours.

Areas Affected by Shutdown and Works:

  • Nashik East:
    • Ward 14 – Work on a 500 mm diameter gravity main from Kalika water tank.
    • Ward 23 – Installation of a new air valve on the 400 mm diameter distribution line near Ashoka School.
    • Gandhinagar water tanks (1, 2, 3, and 4) – Installation of valves and flow meters on distribution lines.
  • Nashik Road:
    • Bhimnagar water tank 1 – Repair of inlet valve, outlet valve, and flow meters.
    • Bhimnagar water tank 2 – Inlet valve and flow meter repairs.
  • Shivshaktinagar Water Tank: Repair of inlet valve and flow meter.
  • Pawarwadi Water Tanks:
    • Tank 1 – Repair of valves and flow meters.
    • Tank 2 – Valve repairs.
  • New Nashik Division: Work on Bhavanimata water tank.
  • Satpur Area: Repairs at three locations on the 1200 mm diameter main pipeline.

The NMC has appealed to residents to store sufficient water in advance and use it judiciously during the shutdown period.
