Nashik: Cloudy November Expected; Winter Chill to Arrive Late

Maximum temperature likely to remain below average

Nashik | November 1, 2025: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), most parts of the country are likely to witness above-average rainfall during November. Meanwhile, minimum temperatures are expected to stay higher than normal, suggesting that the onset of severe winter may be delayed this year.

In its monthly forecast issued on Friday, the IMD predicted that rainfall would be below normal in the Himalayan states, Arunachal Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, while Maharashtra, Goa, and several other states may experience above-average rainfall. During November, maximum temperatures are expected to remain slightly below normal, whereas minimum temperatures are likely to be above normal.

Rain expected in Nashik tomorrow:
Due to the La Niña effect over the Pacific Ocean, intense cold conditions are expected later in the season. Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon is likely to remain strong over southern India. A low-pressure area over the east-central Arabian Sea is likely to cause rainfall in parts of Gujarat. In Maharashtra, the intensity of rain is expected to decrease slightly, but some areas of Nashik may receive rainfall on Sunday.
