Nashik | October 9, 2025: In a bid to clamp down on rising crime in the city, Nashik Police have intensified their crackdown on criminal activities. In connection with the firing incident that took place on Saturday night at a pub in the NICE Complex area of Satpur, police have arrested Republican Party of India (Aathawale faction) district president and former corporator Prakash Mogal Londe, along with his son Deepak alias Nana Londe. Both were detained on Wednesday night (Oct 8) and subjected to thorough interrogation at the Satpur Police Station.
City Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik took serious cognizance of the case and expedited the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate that the Londe gang allegedly conspired and executed a premeditated plan to kidnap a businessman, during which the firing incident occurred. Following these revelations, Commissioner Karnik directed Deputy Commissioner of Police Kishor Kale to take immediate action.
Acting on these orders, the police arrested the Londe father-son duo along with their associates Santosh Pawar and Amol Pagare, who have been named as co-accused in the case. All four are to be produced before the court. Meanwhile, the main suspect Bhushan Londe and several others are reportedly absconding, and multiple police teams have been deployed to trace them.
