Nashik: MCOCA Action Finally Imposed on Prakash Londhe Gang

Nashik | October 28, 2025: In a major crackdown, the Nashik Police have invoked the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against RPI District President and PL Group leader Prakash Londhe, along with his son Deepak Londhe and Bhushan Londhe, who were earlier booked in multiple cases including the Satpur Aura Pub firing incident and several extortion offences.

According to police sources, the Londhe gang had been involved in a series of serious crimes in the Satpur and Ambad industrial areas, including obstructing and looting workers, threatening business owners, demanding weekly payments, assaulting those who refused, firing bullets to intimidate, and demanding money to seize land ownership.

Investigations revealed that the Londhe father-son duo and members of the PL Group had been operating as an organised criminal syndicate. All the accused are currently in judicial custody. Earlier, the Nashik Municipal Corporation and police jointly demolished Londhe’s illegally constructed multi-storey office in Satpur. Now, with MCOCA invoked against the gang, it marks another major blow to their operations.

Police officials stated that this action would send a strong message to the city’s underworld. After the crackdown on the Londhe gang, police attention is likely to turn toward the Bagul gang, which is also on their radar.
