Pahalgam Incident: Special Train for Stranded Passengers

Mumbai (Correspondent): In light of the recent incident in Pahalgam, a special train service has been launched from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD), Katra to New Delhi to accommodate stranded passengers, ease transportation challenges, and manage the surge in crowd. Tickets for this special train are available at Katra, Udhampur, and Jammu railway stations.

Departure Stations and Timings:

  • Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – 9:20 PM
  • Udhampur – 9:48 PM
  • Jammu – 11:00 PM

This special train will play a crucial role in reducing the extra passenger load and ensuring a safe and comfortable journey to New Delhi. Meanwhile, the national highway at Ramban has been opened for one-way traffic. Passengers stranded in Kashmir and Jammu can make use of this special train service. The train will arrive in New Delhi at 9:30 AM.
