Nashik | May 27, 2025: A shocking incident of murder took place on Monday night (May 26) around 9 PM near the Pazar Lake in Shivajinagar, Satpur, where an unidentified group brutally attacked and killed a young migrant man.
The deceased has been identified as Naseem Akbar Shah, aged 19, a resident of Shivajinagar. According to the preliminary investigation, two suspects intercepted Naseem on the road leading from the Phashicha Dongar area towards the Pazar Lake and began assaulting him. During the attack, he was pushed to the ground, causing him to fall hard onto the road. He reportedly sustained a severe head injury and lost consciousness on the spot.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officers from the Gangapur Police Station rushed to the scene. Naseem was immediately transported to Nashik Civil Hospital via ambulance. However, medical officials declared him dead on arrival.
Police have reviewed CCTV footage from the area, which shows two unidentified suspects. A case has been registered at the Gangapur Police Station under Crime Register No. 129/2025, and a search operation is underway to locate and apprehend the culprits.
