Nashik (Correspondent): In the Bharatnagar slum area near Mumbai Naka in Nashik, a fire broke out suddenly around 3 PM today on April 20. Five people were injured in this fire, and they have been admitted to the district civil hospital for treatment.
Among the injured are two children, two women, and one man. A house in this slum suddenly caught fire this afternoon. The residents of the area attempted to extinguish the fire with water from their homes, but it did not stop, and instead spread to the adjoining eight houses.
The fire brigade arrived promptly and brought the fire under control, but by then significant damage was done. Essential household items were destroyed in this fire, and the affected families have requested the government to provide essential items for living. The exact cause of the fire is still not understood, as investigation is underway.
