Nashik: Three in custody for 5 days in the case of M.D. smuggling; the search for the receiver is on!

Nashik (Representative): Three suspects including a woman who smuggled MD from Mumbai to Nashik city were remanded in police custody for five days by a court on Monday (14). A case under NDPS Act has been registered in Nashik Road Police Station in this regard.

According to the information provided by the police, Anirudh Yewle of the Anti Narcotics Squad received information that some suspected MDs from Mumbai were coming to the city to sell. The team chased the suspect Skoda car and caught the suspect car at Nashik Road.

Suspects Faisal alias Dadhi Shafi Shaikh (Res. Artillery Center Road), Shiban Shafi Shaikh, Hina Shiban Shaikh were detained in the car. When the car was searched, drugs worth around Rs 4 lakh 97 thousand 500 were found weighing 99.5 grams. Cases of murder, robbery and assault have been registered against Shiban in the suburban police station.
