Learn MoreNashik (Correspondent): Parts of Nashik city under the jurisdiction of MSEDCL’s City Division-2 will experience a planned power outage on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, due to essential infrastructure upgrades.
According to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), a higher capacity transformer will be installed at the 33/11 kV Sarul substation, which supplies electricity to areas under the Pathardi section. This upgrade is aimed at providing improved voltage stability and enhanced service reliability to consumers in the region.
To facilitate this installation, power supply will be interrupted from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Wednesday. The outage will affect the following 11kV and 33kV feeder lines:
- 11kV NTC
- Vijayanand
- Sapat
- Rajur
- Jetex
- 33kV Indurwala
As a result, the following areas will experience power cuts:
Rajur, Pimpald, Ambe Bahula, Raigad Nagar, and Sarul.
MSEDCL has appealed to consumers in the affected areas to take note of the planned outage and extend their cooperation. The department also noted that if the transformer installation work is completed ahead of schedule, power supply will be restored earlier than expected.
