Nashik (Correspondent): A most-wanted habitual criminal, Vedant Sanjay Chalge (20, resident of Rahulnagar, Tidke Colony), who was involved in various serious crimes such as robbery, unlawful assembly etc. was skillfully trapped and arrested by the Crime Branch Unit-1 team on College Road.
After receiving information, Crime Branch Unit-1 officer Prashant Markad and his team set up an ambush on College Road. When they spotted Vedant standing near the college entrance, they attempted to surround him, but he tried to escape. The police team chased him as he jumped inside the protective wall of Don Bosco School.
Vedant then jumped over the other side of the protective wall and hid inside a complex named Suraj Sankul. However, the police swiftly apprehended him, handcuffed him, and secured him in a government vehicle. He is a hardened criminal with multiple cases registered against him.
